Kindergarten Program
Our kindergarten classes provide a warm and nurturing environment for students to learn. A wide variety of educational activities expose the children to a broad range of educational experiences. The kindergarten uses a biblically based curriculum that includes a phonics based language approach. Kindergartners also attend weekly special area classes in physical education, music and art to complement their educational experience. Students may enroll in half-day or full-day programs.
Elementary Program
LCA employs a select combination of quality resources produced by the Association of Christian School International, Christian Schools International, Cursive First, Excellence in Writing, Shurley Grammar, Spell to Write and Read, and Houghton-Mifflin. These curriculum publications are supplemented with quality novels, Accelerated Reader, projects and teacher-created units. The nurturing classroom atmosphere sets the stage for attaining academic excellence while providing opportunity for growth and maturation as young students. After- school clubs are also available. Middle School Program
This is a critical time in the life of the middle school student. The middle school program is designed to meet the unique needs expressed by this age group, and to prepare the student for the rigors presented throughout the high school experience. A combination of quality resources are used to present a biblical worldview throughout the subject matter. Publishers include the Association of Christian Schools International, Chicago Press, Christian Schools International, Critical Thinking Company, Excellence in Writing, Houghton Mifflin, Peacemaker Ministries, and Bob Jones University Press. Units are presented according to recognized state and national standards. Areas of class instruction include:

Senior High Program
Students enrolled in grades 9-12 have a wide variety of classes with differing degrees of rigor from which to choose. LCA uses a combination of quality resources produced by Baker Books, Chicago Press, Christian Schools International, Excellence in Writing, Summit Ministries, Holt McDougal and Bob Jones University Press. Areas of instruction are supplemented with quality novels, projects and teacher-created units. One of the academic goals for our graduates is to have a great range of choices available to them upon graduation, and not be limited by their choices during their high school experience. A number of school approved Dual Credit, and On-line courses are available as well. Students may be involved with the arts, athletics, Student Council, Spanish Club, and National Honor Society. The yearly retreat fosters team spirit, builds friendships, and provides a biblical theme for the year. Areas of class instruction for credit include:
